The Instituto Tecnológico Agrario de Castilla y León (ITACyL) is the public Agri-Food Research Centre of the Regional Government of Castilla-Leon (Spain). Its aims are to boost the activity of the agricultural sector and its transformation industries, to revitalize technological innovation and initiatives which entail new productive orientations and adaptation to market changes. ITACyL activities focusses on the technological development of food, livestock and agriculture sector through research, innovation and transfer of scientific advances by collaboration with public/private organisations. ITACyL staff works in different knowledge areas linked with agrarian and livestock sectors and its processing industries.
